Executive Beauty Moves March 2022

March was full of major moves among beauty executives, with Haus Laboratories making several executive appointments and adding more new hires as it "rebuilt" several departments.The British Beauty Council announced Jane Boardman, the organization's co-founder and chair, will be stepping down after four years in the role. Jane will be succeeded by Meribeth Parker who will take over the reins in June 2022. The role of chair at the Council is to run the board, oversee and manage governance, and give leadership and direction to the CEO and the management team. It is a pro bono, non-executive role.The Hut Group (THG) has announced its non-executive director, Tiffany Hall, will be stepping down from its board, effective immediately, for family reasons. Hall has been with THG for 12 months.The Hut Group (THG) has hired former ITV boss Charles Allen as its Chairman as part of efforts to improve its corporate governance. Allen will become non-executive chair in a move that will split the dual roles of Executive Chair and Chief Executive Officer held by founder Matthew Moulding. Moulding will continue as CEO of the company.Jose Zuniga, Chief Financial Officer at Dollar Shave Club, is departing his role to become CFO at Madison Reed. Zuniga brings with him a wealth of retail and technology experience hailing from his leadership positions at Dollar Shave Club, where he most recently served as CFO, Google, Yahoo!, and Mattel. During his seven-year tenure at Dollar Shave Club, Zuniga led the company through its most transformative stages, including its $1 billion sale to Unilever and its omnichannel expansion.Black Opal named Eden Zeilo as its new VP of Global Integrated Marketing.
